The Children’s Museum of Memphis is having its second “Flashback: For the Young at Heart” fund raising party on May 10 from 6-9 p.m. at the museum.
This casual affair, sponsored by Central BBQ and Cafe Society, focuses on grandparents and empty nesters and allows them to explore the museum, talk with board and staff, and enjoy a fun, retro party. Partygoers dance to music from the ’60s and ’70s. Other activities include a Wine Pull and special prize drawings. Hors d’oeuvres will be served as well as wine and beer. Tickets are $40 per person and attendees must be at least 21 years old.
The host committee includes Liz and Tom Baker, Judy and Joe Blythe, Frances and Alan Catmur, Kathleen and Mike Edelmuth, Kathy and Dick Hackett, Beba and Ricardo Heros, Vicki and Jim McCollough, Robbie and John McQuiston, Melinda and Stuart Rothenberg, Ruthie and Joe Samaha, Jennifer and Bill Taylor and Carmine and Bill Vaughan.
Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Museum of Memphis.
