Obion Central was good enough up and down the lineup.
The Lady Rebel girls’ tennis team won six of the eight matches played against Peabody at Trenton on Tuesday afternoon.
OC’s boys, meanwhile, could not a find a win anywhere on the ladder in dropping all six matches.
Marissa Howard and Mallori Conley were each part of two wins for Central’s girls.
Howard defeated Madi-son Maitland 8-2 at No. 1 in singles and then teamed with Lindsay Castellaw for a 8-6 win over Maitland and Holly Johnson at No. 1 doubles.
Conley picked up an 8-4 win over Kaitlyn Wallace at No. 5 in singles and joined Kristin Storey for an 8-3 win over Rachel Hamm and Mary E. Gibson in doubles.
Shelly Pate was an 8-1 winner over Hamm, and Taylor Moore topped Nicole Newman 8-5 for the Lady Rebs.
Austin Riley gave OC’s boys their best chances, losing 8-5 to Eli King in singles and then partnering with Dallas Mathis in an 8-4 setback to Drew Butler and Nate Adams in doubles.
