David Dean “Dave” Webber, 73, of Union City died 12:30 a.m. April 19, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
He arranged to daaonate his body to the Medical Education & Research Institute through its Legacy of Life Donor Program. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born April 19, 1939, in Bangor, Maine, son of the late Floyd A. and Grace Ida (Parsons) Webber. He retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service and was a retired aviation electronics technician. A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Lions Club in South Carolina, he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by three sons and his daughter-in-law, Russell and Renee Webber and Kenneth and Amanda Webber, all of Obion, and Allen Webber of Troy; his sister, Jane Webber of Phoenix; seven grandchildren and the spouse of one, Russ Webber II and Amy Webber of South Fulton, Tony Webber, Jennifer Webber, Lauren Webber and Zack Webber all of Obion, and Danielle Webber and Allison Webber, both of Union City; two great-grandchildren, Russ Webber III of South Fulton and Keagan Webber of Obion; and several cousins.
