Big band concert to be held

The University of Tennessee at Martin Big Band and Small Jazz Group will present a public concert at 7:30 p.m. April 28 in the ballroom of the Boling University Center.
The group will present a total of eight pieces, including “Milestones” by Miles Davis, “Mister Magic” by Grover Washington, Jr. and “Fire Shaker” by Maynard Ferguson.
The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Kurt Gorman, associate professor of music.
The performance is free and open to the public.
