The monthly Bingo winners were Peggy Dunker, Sandra Winston, Audrey Evans, Carolyn Swindell, Doris Maassen, R.C. Nunley, Emma Juras, Ralph Hughey, Irene Sadler, Fred Jones, Dolores Perry, Evelyn Nooner, Wyonna Brown and Wilma Yost.
Yahtzee winners were Donald Gant and Margaret Plunk.
The month of March began with the celebration of  Oreo’s 100th birthday.
The residents and staff sampled different cookies and had a fun time going over some of the information about the cookie.
Kenny Presley also visited MHC the first of the month. The residents and staff enjoy it when he comes and sings. Sandra Winston and Wilma Yost enjoyed dancing and singing along.
National Cereal Day was also celebrated with rice krispy treats. Chips and dip were served for National Dip Day. Everyone ate cheese dip, salsa and chili cheese dip. Sylvia  Young had a fun time trying different dips
On St. Patrick’s Day, a big party was held. The dining room was decorated in green and yellow. Potato soup, Irish Soda Bread, green cookies and green punch was served. Irish folk music was also enjoyed. The residents had a good time and enjoyed the food.
March was a great month, but we’re looking forward to spring.
Several days we were able to go outside and eat popcorn on the porch.
