Completed arrangements are being announced for Lois Lurline (Sutton) Moore McNeal, 93, of Union City, who died April 16, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Eddie Cassetty officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Paul Stinnett, Larry Doxey, Jimmy Temple, Mike Thompson, Larry Speed and Jimmy Poe. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Community Church of Christ in Union City.
The family requests that memorials be made to Tennessee Children’s Home, P.O. Box 10, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
Mrs. McNeal was born June 24, 1918, in Obion County, daughter of the late Nathan and Myrtle (McCoy) Sutton. She married Robert Fletcher Moore June 20, 1941. He died June 4, 1963. She married George A. McNeal April 26, 1970. He died April 22, 2008.
She was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. in Union City, where she worked for 40 years. She was a founding member of Community Church of Christ and had been a member of the former Business and Professional Women’s Club in Union City.
She is survived by her stepson and his wife, Chris and Dianne McNeal of Delray Beach, Fla.; two step-grandsons, Bryan McNeal of Austin, Texas, and Stewart McNeal of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; her niece, Paulette Sutton of Memphis; two young women she claimed as granddaughters and the child of one, Kisah Stinnett and Hannah Adcock and her daughter, Alyxis Brewer, all of Union City; and three step-great-grandchildren, Bailey Isabelle McNeal, Ara Quinn McNeal and Cullen Gray McNeal, all of Austin.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carlous Sutton Sr.
