TFA plans meeting

The Obion County chapter of Tennessee Firearms Association will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. at Snappy Tomato Pizza at 509 South First St. in Union City, with John Stevens, a Republican candidate for the state Senate seat currently held by state Sen. Roy Herron, as the guest speaker. Those attending will have the opportunity to purchase a buffet pizza meal and beverage and the meeting will begin at 7 or as soon as the meal is over.
The public is invited to attend and need not be members of the organization. Handgun carry permit holders and firearm owners are especially invited, a spokesman said.
