Justa Johnson Posted: Monday, April 16, 2012 4:47 pm The Messenger, April 16, 2012 Justa Faith (Faulkner) Johnson, 65, of Union City died April 14, 2012, at her home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. The Rev. Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Larry Sturgis, Thomas Key, Greg Hammond, Tully Moore, Mitch Eddington, Jason Riley, Joey Faulkner and Matthew Payne. Mrs. Johnson was born May 25, 1946, in Lake County, daughter of the late L.D. and Helen Marie (Prater) Faulkner. She married Harry Johnson Nov. 8, 1965. He survives. She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at Union City Manor Nursing home and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Angelia Johnson of Union City; three granddaughters, Alex Eddington of Troy and Parker Johnson and Preslee Johnson, both of Union City; four sisters, Betty Leonard of the Blue Bank community, Freda Sturgis of Jackson, Martha Rice of North Little Rock, Ark., and Catherine Mayhall of Union City; and two brothers, Bobby Faulkner of Union City and L.D. Faulkner Jr. of Rives. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Johnson; and her granddaughter, Maggie Grace Johnson.
