Earl Wayne Powers Earl Wayne Powers, 64, of Kenton passed from this life April 12, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services were Saturday at 3 p.m. at Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton with the Rev. James Barber officiating. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery near Kenton.
He was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Weakley County, son of the late Charlie and Shirley (Green) Powers. He retired as a fork lift operator for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Union City.
He is survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Penny Powers and Heather and Lee Jay Hobbs; three grandchildren, Jessica Hobbs, Jay Lee Hobbs and Baylee Hobbs; and his sister and brother-in-law, Bettye Jane and Charlie Moore.
