| | MISS UNION CITY — Steve Emrich (back, left) of Steve’s Jewelers handed the crown for this year’s Miss Union City to reigning Miss Union City Blair Beachum Thursday afternoon. Miss Beachum will crown the 2012 Miss Union City April 22 at Union City Civic Auditorium following the Teen Miss Union City pageant. Registration for the event, which is being sponsored by the Union City High School band, has been extended until Monday. Applications are available in the school offices. Other reigning queens include (front, from left) Junior Miss Union City Libby Maclin, Petite Miss Union City Kate Schlager, Little Miss Union City Aubree Keeling and Miss Teen Union City Molly Maclin. The Petite Miss pageant for ages 4-6 will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by Little Miss for ages 7-9 at 2:15, Junior Miss for ages 10-12 at 3:15 and Teen Miss for ages 13-15.
