Betty Ruth Crews Oliver

Mrs. Betty Ruth Crews Oliver, 76, of Dresden died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at her residence.
Services will be held at 11 p.m. Friday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Martin with Bro. Brad Brewer and Bro. Tommy Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Tansil Cemetery, Martin. Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Greg Williams, Craig Williams, Andrew Oliver, Cody Oliver, Jeff Oliver and Richard Boone served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Oliver was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Tiptonville, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Williams Crews of Lansing, Mich., and the late W. E. “Red” Crews. She was a graduate of Tiptonville High School. Before retirement, she was a bookkeeper for Argo-Collier Truck Line. She attended Bethel Church of Christ and Lexington Church of Christ.
Survivors also include her husband, Olan B. Oliver of Dresden; one son, Chuck Oliver of Martin; two daughters, Ann Oliver of Dresden and Kim Oliver Hawks of Martin; one sister, Margaret Pollard of Lansing; one best friends, Mrs. Faye Howerton Williams of Tiptonville; and two grandchildren, Andrew Oliver and Cody Oliver.
