B. Dwight Bradley Sr., 83, of Colorado Springs, Colo. Died March 7, 2012.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. March 16, 2012 at Community Congregational Church in Manitou Springs, Colo. Bradley was born Sept. 15, 1928 in Denver. He was a 1947 graduate of Martin High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He and his wife, Pat, lived in Manitou Springs for 40 years. He devoted much of his life to youth. He founded the Y.A.I. football program in Manitou Springs in the late 1960s and ran and coached in the program for 33 years. As a young man, Dwight was an artist, a disc jockey, a TV cameraman, a business owner and salesman. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patricia; his sons, Dwight Jr. (Diane), Steve (Sheralyn) and Bryan (Chris); grandchildren, Lisa (Al), Ben (Barbie), Matthew, Marissa, Madison, Christopher, Joshua, Aaron, Like and Brea; great-grandchildren, Giselle, Preston, Ethan and McKenzie; sisters, Berlynne (Bob), Bradone (Craig), and Barbara.
He will be remembered by his extended family and countless friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Scott.
