Senior Friends meet in Troy

Senior Friends of Cobb’s Chapel United Methodist Church met recently at Autry’s Country Kitchen in Troy and enjoyed good food and fellowship.
The group used a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Those attending included Norval Cranford, who offered a blessing for the meal; Virginia Cranford; Mattie Lou Moran, who gave the devotional; Ilar Moran, Cy and Etta Harris; Anna Mae Muse; Maudie Byrd; Ursla Luker; John Luker; Nancy Rivers; Janette Criswell; Clen  Reavis; Aaron Smith; Virginia Smithson; Faye Howard; Trixie Heidelberg; Mary K, McKinnis; Mozelle Flippen; Ada Martha Cleek; and Mary Nichols.
Readings were presented by Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Cranford.
Senior Friends will meet at Autry’s Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and ladies in the group are reminded to wear hats for this special meeting, a spokesman said.
