A 17-year veteran of the Tennessee Highway Patrol has graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy in Quantico, Va.
Lt. Dan E. Moore, 43, of Sharon is the field lieutenant for the Criminal Investigation Division (Region 4) and the field lieutenant for the Patrol’s Interdiction Plus program (West Bureau). Moore serves as lieutenant over CID field operations, which spans four THP uniform districts (Nashville, Jackson, Lawrenceburg and Memphis).
He entered the 248th session of the academy Jan. 8 and graduated March 16.
He was one of 257 graduates from all over the world, consisting of law enforcement personnel from 48 of the 50 United States and international representatives from 28 foreign nations.
FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III presented Moore his diploma.
Moore is a 1992 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
