Charlie F. Daniels, 76, of Martin died April 12, 2012, at his home.
He was the father of Rusty Daniels and Wanda Tanner, both of Union City.
Services will be private. Friends may call at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin 2-4 p.m. Saturday.
He was born March 1, 1936, in Waverly, son of the late Cam E. and Ludie M. (Cathey) Daniels. He was retired from Vowell & Sons Lumber Co. and was a member of Mt. Pelia Baptist Church.
He is also survived by another son, Jimmy Daniels of Martin; another daughter, Susie Hutton of Nashville; his daughter-in-law, Katie Daniels of Union City; his son-in-law, Rodger Tanner of Union City; his companion and caregiver and her children and their spouses, Donna Woodruff of Martin and Mitch and Bendy White of Dresden and Cory and Kim Smith of Wingo, Ky.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Raymond Daniels, Earl Daniels, Ralph Daniels, Harry Daniels, Bill Daniels and Bobby Daniels; and two sisters, Sarah Evans and Ruth Bell.
