Miss Gilbert to wed Nelson on June 2

The engagement of Jentri Ann Gilbert and Adam Philip Nelson, both of Memphis, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Rick and JoAnn Horton of Union City and Jeff and Geri Gilbert of Fulton. Her grandparents are Joe and Jackie Horton, Ann Williams and the late Joe Williams, all of Union City, and Jimmy and Peggy Gilbert of Fulton.
She is a 2005 graduate of Obion County Central High School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in communications: public relations. She plans to begin graduate school in August at the University of Memphis to pursue a master of arts degree in education.
The groom-elect is the son of Philip and Stacey Nelson of Memphis. His grandparents are Sue Page, the late Jerry Page, Helen Nelson and the late Wilburn Nelson, all of Milan.
He is a 2006 graduate of Milan High School and graduated magna cum laude from UT Martin, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in political science. He is a student at the University of Memphis School of Law, where he plans to graduate in 2014.
The couple will wed 3 p.m. June 2 at Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Music will begin at 2:30.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
