Miss Williams to wed Billingsley on July 7

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Mary Emily Williams and Adam Clayton “Clay” Billingsley, both of Memphis, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Williams of Woodland Mills. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Betty Jones of Woodland Mills, Hazel Williams of Union City and the late Harold Lloyd Williams.
She is a 2007 graduate of Obion County Central High School and graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis with a bachelor of science degree in political science in 2011. While attending Rhodes College, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is employed with Morgan Keegan, working in wealth management services.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Billingsley of Union City. He is the grandson of Bill “Rat” Harrison, the late Melba P. Harrison and the late James and Rata Billingsley, all of Union City.
He is a 2000 graduate of Union City High School and received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2004. While attending UTM, he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He also attended the University of Memphis Cecil B. Humphreys School of Law, where he received a law degree in 2009. He became a certified public accountant in 2011 and is employed as an attorney in Memphis.
The couple will wed 6 p.m. July 7 at Antioch Union Church in the Crystal Community. Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will follow at the home of the bride’s parents at 5663 Old Troy-Hickman Road.
Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
