Relay team ‘dances’ for money

DANCING FOR A CAUSE – Members of the UT Martin Relay for Life team danced the night away Wednesday to raise money for the upcoming Weakley West Relay for Life event. Brian Johnson and Angie Morrow (right) performed two waltzes that evening. They joined Mandy and Brent Hinson; Laura Brown and Todd Sherman; Michelle and Cam Merwin; and Ann Gathers and John Sallee in a “Dancing with the Stars”-style competition. Audience members paid $1 per vote and chose their favorite celebrity couple. The Merwins took away bragging rights that evening and the event raised $1,509.
