The following cases were disposed of March 26-30 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Lehman C. Allgier — public intoxication, to be dismissed upon payment of costs.
• Brandon D. Jones — driving while license suspended, to be dismissed upon payment of costs.
• Kay Powell — three counts of worthless checks (up to $500), to be dismissed upon payment of costs.
• Cecilia M. Werner — worthless checks (up to $500), to be dismissed upon payment of costs.
• Steve Jamar Collier — Schedule VI controlled substance/attempt, guilty of a lesser charge.
• Jerry W. Fitzgerald Jr. — evading arrest or flight/vehicle, guilty of a lesser charge of evading arrest.
• Miccah M. Lewis — vandalism ($500-$1,000), guilty of a lesser charge of vandalism (up to $500).
• Shanthony T. Mays — drugs: certain amounts/manufacturing, delivery, selling or possession/attempt, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Christopher J. Mitchell — drugs: manufacturing, delivery, selling or possession/facilitation, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Robert D. Williams — contraband in a penal facility, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Carmen G. Burgus — theft (up to $500), judicial diversion.
• Brenda Cheek — theft (up to $500), judicial diversion.
• Jonathan M. Hassell — sale, loan or exhibition of material to minors, judicial diversion.
• Emmanuel T. Yarbro — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Cody A. Chessor — alcohol under 21 possession, deferred.
• Joshua M. Craddock — sale of alcohol to a minor, deferred.
• Larry F. Jones — alcohol under 21 possession, deferred.
• Tracy K. Rice — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Sherry A. Gauldin — theft of merchandise/shoplifting and two counts of theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Ammie M. Langley — driving while license suspended, guilty as charged.
• Denise L. Lock — driving while license suspended, guilty as charged.
• Lindsey F. Ricketts — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, guilty as charged.
• Ronniqua C. Fair — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Stephanie R. Hensley — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Angela M. Mureno — driver’s license to be carried and exhibited and financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic tickets paid in full.
• Hec E. Rice — following too closely, leaving the scene of an accident/property damage and driver to exercise due care, guilty/traffic tickets paid in full.
