Donna (Hammond) Ellegood

Completed arrangements are being announced for Donna Lynn (Hammond) Ellegood, 58, of Union City, who died April 1, 2012, at her home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bray, Seann Davidson, Mark Bray Jr., Derek Ivy, Ryan Ellegood, Terry Hornsby and Roger Hornsby.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First Baptist Church, 500 East Church St., Union City, TN 38261.
She was born Nov. 15, 1954, in Obion County, daughter of James Carl Hammond of Union City and South Fulton and the late Norma Kent (Harper) Bennett.
She attended the former Memphis State University and was the office manager of Hornsby’s Garage in Union City. She was a member of Union City First Baptist Church.
She is also survived by her stepmother, Peggy Hammond of Union City and South Fulton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Seann Davidson of Cordova and Mandy and Mark Bray of Arlington; her stepdaughter, Taylor Pierce of Obion County; her stepson, Ryan Ellegood of Obion County; four grandchildren, Mark Bray Jr., Makaleb Bray, Mickolas Bray and Mia Bray, all of Arlington; her sister, Becky Buckner of Union City; her half brother, Carl Wayne Hammond of Union City; her stepsister, Allison Whitledge; and several nieces and nephews.
