Burglary investigated

Police are investigating an alleged break-in that resulted in the theft of electronics and collectibles from a Union City home.
The burglary apparently occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny E. Morris’ residence at 906 South Fifth St. in Union City, according to a Union City Police Department report.
Morris told police he and his wife came home from work and found the break-in. There were no signs of forced entry.
Among the items reported stolen were a Sony Bravia 46-inch flat screen television and Sony surround sound system, a Sony Playstation 3, a laptop computer, a Zippo lighter collection and a knife collection.
