Completed arrangements are being announced for Terry Lee Burkeen Sr., 56, of Troy, who died 1:45 p.m. April 1, 2012, in the emergency room at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home.
The Rev. Bobby Barnett will officiate. Burial will follow in Troy in Terrace Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Eric Burkeen, T.J. Burkeen, Will Little, Jarron Ams, Joey Henderson and Keith Hepler. Honorary pallbearers will be Waymon Dyer, Dewayne Wilson, Coy Matheny, Bubba Scobey, Derek Parker and Russell Webber III.
He was born Oct. 10, 1955, in Lake County, son of Marvin and Faye (Johnson) Burkeen of Troy. He married the former Anna Dyer May 5, 1978. She survives. He had been employed at the former Bekaert Steel in Dyersburg.
He is also survived by two sons and his daughter-in-law, Terry Lee “T.J.” Burkeen Jr. and Amanda Burkeen of Mason Hall and Eric Burkeen of Troy; two grandchildren, Andrew Blake Burkeen and Brody Gage Burkeen, both of Mason Hall; his father-in-law, Lloyd Dyer of Troy; and several uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ina B. Dyer.
