The Ice House in Mayfield, Ky., is currently hosting an exhibit of more than 40 quilts made by The Piecemakers, a quilting club with members from Graves County, Ky.
The show includes both traditional quilts and art quilts. There are also some antique quilts on display.
The quilters participating in the show are Ann Landini, Roxanne Ferguson, Carol Ray, Fran McEachern, Janet Crider, Judy Hobbs, Frances Higgins, Lindsay Luciano, Mary Helen Boyd, Kim Dublin, Phyllis Miller and Lou Ann Philpot.
The Ice House will host a Special Quilt Week April 23-28. The gallery will have extended hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday during this week to accommodate a bazaar offering fabrics, quilting magazines and patterns, handmade items and a bake sale. There will be a drawing for a raffle quilt on April 28. The beautiful wall quilt with hollyhock design was made and donated by Mary Helen Boyd and Fran McEachern. All proceeds go to The Mayfield/Graves County Art Guild.
