Staff named at Southern Belle Posted: Monday, April 2, 2012 7:00 pm Southern Belle Refrigeration of Tupelo, Miss., has appointed Chad Martin as operation manager of the Southern Belle plant in Martin. Martin has worked for sister company Timber Lake Foods out of Tupelo. Natasha Martin, who is currently with sister company Eagle Capital Corp of Tupelo, has accepted the position of office manager of the Martin facility and Jeremy Biggs of Memphis will be joining Southern Belle as a sales representative for the Mississippi and Tennessee facilities. Southern Belle Refrigeration is headquartered in Tupelo and recently opened a second location in Martin. The Martin facility is a 147,600-square-foot state-of-the-art, racked, refrigerated and dry storage warehouse offering 19,975 total pallet capacity positions of product storage. The refrigerated division has the flexibility of meeting 10 different segregated temperature areas at any given time. There are 14 dry receiving docks and seven refrigerated receiving docks at the facility. The modernized facility boasts the latest in technology, including a computerized inventory control system and a 24-hour temperature monitoring alarm system.
