Lee Latham, 87, of Troy died March 28, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late Cecil Freeman and Neeley (Baker) Latham.
He married the former Elora Rodgers in 1964. She died July 30, 2008.
He was a retired inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was a World War II veteran.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Nicole Latham of Nashville and Don and Rita Wann of Bandana, Ky.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Carolyn and Jim Rogers of Sevierville and Debbie and Mike Stevenson of Troy; nine grandchildren, Jimmy Rogers, Jeffrey Rogers and Jeremy Wann, all of Knoxville, Chris Wann of Decatur, Texas, Barbie Sharp of Troy, Stephanie Muse of Union City and Jesse Darnell, Jonah Darnell and Samuel Latham, all of Lewisburg; 10 great-grandchildren, Jackson Warren, Lily Warren and Cade Warren, all of Decatur, Tré Moore, M’Leah Moore and Jondon Muse, all of Union City, and Ben Sharp, Trip Sharp, Alex Sharp and Lexie Sharp, all of Troy.
