Darryl Calhoun Posted: Monday, April 2, 2012 4:59 pm The Messenger, April 2, 2012 Darryl Keith Calhoun, 51, of Union City died March 31, 2012, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with burial following in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery and the Rev. Rick Burton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Terry Hinson, Keith Goodlett, Danny Goodlett, Brad Lofton, Larry Parks, Tim Stockdale and Shane Perry. He was born Nov. 10, 1960, in Obion County, son of Joan (May) Calhoun of Union City and the late Frank Calhoun. He married the former Sandy Carter Nov. 16, 2002. She survives. He was an over-the-road truck driver and a member of Woodland Mills First Baptist Church. He is also survived by his daughter, Serena Perry of Troy; three grandchildren, Summyr Perry, Triston Perry and Phoenix Perry, all of Hornbeak; his sister, Kay (Calhoun) Hooper of Hornbeak; two stepsons, Kyle Dropik of Texas and Drew Dropik, who is stationed in Afghanistan; and two step-grandchildren, Ruby Dropik of Texas and Mackenzie Dropik of Union City.
