Early goals send OC
past South Fulton

Obion Central scored twice in the first half and went on to beat South Fulton 3-1 in a matchup of Obion County prep soccer teams in Troy Thursday.
Jose Camacho and Victor Guerrero both had goals and assists for the Rebels, who are now 4-1 heading into spring break.
Alex Terrell sealed the victory with a goal after the intermission for OC.
Samuel Smith had three saves in goal for the Rebels.
Harrison Hawks accounted for the only South Fulton goal in the second half off an assist from Jalen Sowell.
Obion Central’s next match is April 9 vs. Covington at home.
South Fulton (2-2-1) will host Trenton ths same night.

Craddock aces
No. 8 at Hickman

Union City resident Allen Craddock recorded a hole-in-one at the Hickman Country Club earlier this week.
Craddock aced the No. 8, 165-yard par-three using a seven-wood.
Witnessing the memor-able feat were Ron Swain and Al Stepp.

5K run event
at Union City

The 2nd annual 5K For Fannies run is scheduled for April 28, beginning 9 a.m. at Union City High School.
The event includes a 5K run and a one-mile run/walk for men and women.
Deadline to enter in advance is April 20. Entry fee for the 5K is $15 in advance and $20 on race day, while the one-mile fee is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the race.
Schools with more than three entries for the 5K can pre-register for $12 or register on race day for $15.
The event begins and ends at Union City High School.
T-shirts will go to the first 100 entrants, and refreshments will be provided following the race.
Proceeds will go to the Hometown Walk of Hope.
