Ruth (Vickery) Roden, 82, of Mason Hall passed away from this life March 28, 2012, at Dyer Nursing Home.
Graveside services were set for today at 2 p.m. at Mason Hall Cemetery. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 29, 1929, daughter of the late Carl and Opal (Bone) Vickery. She was the widow of Walter B. Roden and had been a sewing machine operator at the former Trimble Manufacturing Co. She was a United Methodist.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Carolyn Roden of Obion; her grandson, James T. Roden of Mason Hall; two sisters and her brother-in-law, Patsy and Jerry Rhudy of Florida and Ethel Vickery of Madisonville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carl Vickery Jr.
