Beginner’s computer course offered Posted: Friday, March 30, 2012 4:01 pm Doug Bloodworth, analyst and programmer for the University of Tennessee at Martin, will instruct a course in beginning-level computer use for interested community members. The class will be offered from 6-9 p.m. April 17 and 19 on the main campus of UT Martin. Bloodworth will address basic issues such as how to use the desktop, start menu, taskbar, control panel, administration tools and common settings. Participants will also be exposed to anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, security updates and internet-use techniques. The registration fee is $95 per person and includes handouts.
