| | YOUNG LEADERS IN AGRICULTURE – Community members were on hand Friday morning at Taylor Automotive in Martin to congratulate Andy and Ellie Holt (pictured) and Ben and Jennifer Moore for their achievements and excellence in agriculture awards presented by the American Farm Bureau Federation. The Moores of Dresden earned the Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award. The Holts of Palmersville earned the Excellence in Agriculture Award. Both families picked up top honors during the 93rd annual Meeting of the American farm Bureau Federation in Hawaii in January. As part of their prize package, the couples were awarded 2012 GMC Sierras, courtesy of General Motors (GM). Mike Taylor presented keys to the Holt family, while president of the Farm Bureau Federation Lacy Upchurch presented keys to the Moore family. | | | | |
