Pringles Park will welcome Generals fans

The Jackson Generals will hold their second annual FanFest Wednesday, April 4th, with Pringles Park gates opening at 5 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. The Fan Fest will prelude the Generals’ home opener against the Birmingham Barons (White Sox affiliate) on Thursday, April 5th, at 7:05 p.m.
Fans will get to meet the 2012 Jackson Generals, watch batting practice, take photos and get autographs on the field.
“We are excited to get the season started,” said Generals general manger Jason Compton. “FanFest is a great way kick off what will be a tremendous 2012 season at Pringles Park. We have some exciting players heading to Jackson this year and FanFest gives fans an opportunity to meet them up close.”
Fan Fest will feature something for everyone in the family. For the kids, the Generals’ will set up the Kids Zone with a bounce house, inflatable slide and more.
Generals’ mascot Sarge will be entertaining fans and will be available for pictures.
Concession stands will be open throughout the event.
Entertainment will be provided in an acoustic setting by Kimberlie Helton, and door prizes will be given away throughout the night.
Prime seat locations will be marked available for fans that are interested in purchasing season tickets. Each season ticket comes with $345 in free food.
The box office will be open with flex plans, individual game tickets, family four packs and nine-game Power Packs for sale.
Parents can sign up their kids, 12-and-under to join the Junior Generals Kids Club, presented by Clubhouse Barbers. The Generals’ Official Team Store will be open and showcasing brand new Jackson Generals’ merchandise.
Fans may continue to purchase the new nine-game power pack featuring the top promotions in 2012 for only $59.
