Pageants set in area

Hillcrest PTO is sponsoring a Star Studded Event pageant Saturday at the school.
It is open to girls from birth through eighth grade, with the pageant for younger children beginning at 2 p.m. Hillcrest students will compete at 5 p.m.

The eighth annual Miss West Tennessee Woodman of the World Springtime Pageant will be held March 31 at the old Gleason gymnasium.
All proceeds will be used to help fund scholarships for eligible seniors at Gleason and Dresden high schools. It is sponsored by Lodge 1149.
The entry fee is $20 and admission at the door is $5 for everyone school-aged and older. One parent will be admitted free with each paid entry fee. Concessions will be available.
The pageants for boys and girls will begin at 3 p.m. for those younger than age 1, 3:30 for age 1, 4 for age 2, 4:30 for age 3, 5 for ages 4 and 5, 5:30 for ages 6 and 7 and 6 for ages 8 and 9. Girls-only pageants begin at 7 for ages 10-12, 7:45 for ages 13-16 and 8:30 for ages 16-21.
Registration begins 45 minutes prior to each category.

The annual Tater Town pageants will be held April 7 at the Gleason School gymnasium, beginning at 1 p.m. Registration will begin at 12:30. Categories for boys and girls are birth to 11 months, 1-2 years, 3 years, 4-5 years and 6-9 years. Girls-only categories include Preteen Miss for ages 10-12, Junior Miss Pageant for ages 13-15 and Miss Tater Town for ages 16-21.
The entry fee is $20.
