Approval from the Obion County Public Library for the April Confederate History and Heritage Month display was granted to Gen. Otho French Strahl Camp No. 176 of Union City. Civil War period items, especially those germane to Obion County, are needed for the display.
Anyone wishing to loan period items for the month-long display is asked to contact Lt. Commander John Abernathy at (731) 991-1069 or Commander Danny Isbell at 592-0958. Items may also be brought to the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. on March 31.
