Frances Janette Saneford, 81, of Newbern died March 18, 2012, at Canterbury Place in Dyersburg.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, with the Rev. Danny Klutts officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:30-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Christ-opher Saneford, Benjamin Saneford, Jonathan Cupples, D.B. Booth, Jeffrey Sane-ford, Keith Siler, Kevin Siler and Chuck Thornton. Honorary pallbearers will be the late Israel O’Bryan, Jason Saneford and Eddie Ferrell.
She was born March 8, 1931, in Mason Hall, daughter of the late Edward and Fannie Perline (Cates) Ferrell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Newbern First Baptist Church and the Mason Hall Family and Community Education Club.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn Saneford of Jackson and Wayne Saneford of Doniphan, Mo.; two daughters, Denise Jones and Renee Saneford, both of Newbern; her brother, Calvin Ferrell of Harrisonburg, Va.; her sister, Brenda Morris of Trenton; 12 grandchildren, Jason Saneford, Christopher Sane-ford, Benjamin Saneford, Kimberly Saneford, Alli-son Bouchillon, Jeffrey Saneford, Sunni Monfee, Crissy Taube, Meri Monfee, Tabetha McBroom, Jonathan Cupples and D.B. Booth; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Saneford; her grandson, Israel O’Bryan; and her brother, Buddy Ferrell.
