University of Tennessee at Martin music professors Dr. Elaine Harriss, pianist; Sarah Beth Hanson, flutist; and Dr. Amy Simmons, clarinetist, will perform for university students and the public at noon March 26 in Watkins Auditorium.
They will perform “The Spice of the Program,” a rendition of music for silent movies composed by Ben Model, as well as transcriptions of two Tchaikovsky pieces and Maurice Emman-uel’s “Sonate.”
“Trio,” composed by Carnegie Mellon student Sean Salamon, will also be featured and includes a set of variations on a well-known theme from Bartok’s Roumanian Dances.
The performance is free and open to the public.
