Have you been looking for someone to just play cards with you or visit with you? Then I have the place for you. Try our Sharon Senior Center. Age is not a factor. Many people of different ages are found at the center. All you need to do is stop in and check it out. If you enjoy playing cards, games, dominoes, ping-pong and many other activities, you have found a place to go. Why don’t you come out and meet the gang? Be sure you stop by and pick up the prepared calendar so you will know the dates of the activities and of any closings. If you need information about the Sharon Senior Center, call 456-2213.
It’s time to clean out your closets, attics and storage places. The citywide yard sale is set for April 28. There is a $5 participation fee for a 10×10 space and the fee can be paid at Sharon City Hall. For more information, contact Nancy Elinor at 514-8761 or Penny Branson at 456-3043. You can also pay the fee to them. Mark your calendars. This promises be the biggest yard sale yet. And remember, it’s a good idea to reserve your spot early.
If you want your information in our birthday and anniversary list, email or call with your information. You can email or call me.
Friday is Ty Bizzle’s birthday and the anniversary of Mark and April Black. Missy Taylor will celebrate her birthday Saturday. Fran Pinson’s birthday is Wednesday.
The thought for the week: “Take time to appreciate what you see each day. God created it for us to enjoy.” If you have a thought you would like to share with the readers, email or call and I will put it in my article. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and phone number is 456-9823.
That is all the news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all.
