Ottis Lattus Posted: Friday, March 16, 2012 12:07 pm The Messenger, March 16, 2012 Ottis Lattus, 94, of Union City died March 15, 2012, at Union City Manor Nursing Home. A funeral mass is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Ponticello officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church. White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 1, 1917, in Obion County, daughter of the late Ira and Eula Mae (Bell) Edwards. She married J.C. Lattus Feb. 1, 1937. He died July 8, 1978. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Wysetta Lattus of Union City and Robert and Barbara Lattus of Hickman, Ky.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy and Mark Phipps of Hickman, Frances Kiefer of Signal Mountain and Mary and George Dozier of Auburn, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Catherine Abshire of Union City. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul Edward Lattus and Adrian Louis Lattus; her brother, Billy Edwards; and three sisters, Martha Ross, Louise Barnett and Frances Myatt.
