Greenfield’s streak continues.
The Lady Yellowjackets won six of their seven matches against Milan on Tuesday for the program’s 40th consecutive win, a streak that dates back to the 2008 season.
Now 2-0 on the 2011 campaign, Greenfield will be back in action Tuesday at Camden.
Kalee Kesterson was involved in two wins, knocking off Emmy Merritt 8-2 at the No. 2 singles spot and then teaming with Kendal Cook for an 8-0 shutout over Jesica Cheeks and Rachel Hart at the second doubles spot.
Taylor Hatcher, Lauren Rush, Callie Croom and Ashton Pence helped Greenfield sweep singles action, Rush getting the toughest challenge in an 8-5 win over Cheeks.
Pence had the easiest match, 8-1 over Emily Freel, while Hatcher won 8-3 over Mary Jo Stinson and Croom claimed an 8-4 decision over Hart.
