It’s time to clean out the closets, attics and storage places. Yes, the Sharon citywide yard sale is quickly approaching. The date is April 28. There is a $5 participation fee for 10×10 spaces, and the fee can be paid at city hall. For more information or to pay the fee, contact Nancy Elinor at 514-8761 or Penny Branson at 456-3043. Mark your calendars as this promises be the biggest yard sale yet. And remember it’s a good idea to reserve your spot early.
If you want your information in our birthday and anniversary list, email or call me with the information. Today (Thursday) is Jason Edwards’ birthday. David Connell will celebrate his birthday on Friday. DeeDee Smith’s birthday is Monday. Anza Rachel’s’ birthday is Wednesday.
Have you been looking for someone to just play cards with you or visit with you? Then I have the place for you. Try the Sharon Senior Center if you want to socialize. Age is not a factor. Many people of different ages are found at the center. All you need to do is stop in and check it out. If you enjoy playing cards, games, dominoes, ping-pong and many other activities, you have found a place to go. Why don’t you come out and meet the gang? Be sure you stop by and pick up the prepared calendar so you know the dates of the activities and of any closings. If you need information about the Sharon Senior Center, call 456-2213.
The thought for the week: “Start your day with prayer. Talking to God will allow Him to be in control of your day!” If you have a thought you would like to share with the readers, email or call and I will put it in my article. My email is email@example.com and phone number is 456-9823.
That’s all the news from the Sharon community. Remember to continue to pray for one another, our community and our military. May God have mercy on our land and bless you all.
