Jack Edward Spicer, 81, of Tiptonville died March 6, 2012, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale True officiating. Burial will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Butch Archie, David Pierce, Justin Spicer, William Preslar, Nick Toon and Timothy Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlow Smith and Richard Spicer.
 The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was a professional fishing and hunting guide, attended Samburg Assembly of God and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his four sons and three daughters-in-law, Bobby and Jennifer Spicer, Gary Spicer and Pete and Marilyn Gray, all of Tiptonville, and Mike and Cindy Spicer of Okemos, Mich.; three sisters, Alice Bachar of Union City, Ginny Caksackkar of Hornbeak and Joan Spicer of California; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Spicer; his son, Mark Spicer; and his parents, Amos and Mary (Coleman) Spicer.
