Youth can participate in OWLS

Are you interested in learning more about wildlife? Do you like the outdoors? Are you in the 6th-12 grade? Then you can participate in O.W.L.S. (Outdoor Wildlife Leadership and Service), which takes place at Land Between the Lakes in Brandon Springs May 29-June 1. The cost of attending is $150. This includes lodging, meals and workshop materials. Topics learned at O.W.L.S Conference include: • wilderness survival skills and wildlife programming • jerky making and Dutch oven cooking • canoeing • GPS/Geo Caching • swimming and fishing O.W.L.S. Conference is open to all youth currently in grades 6-12. Due to space restrictions, registration is very limited. Participation will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
