Partners open Reelfoot Outdoors Posted: Tuesday, March 6, 2012 7:00 pm Brad Treece of Woodland Mills and his friend Macky Wilson of Tiptonville have opened a new hunting-fishing store at Reelfoot Lake called Reelfoot Outdoors. Reelfoot Outdoors was actually formed in 2011 by the two friends, who are avid hunters and fishermen. Their business is located at 3330 State Route 21 East, on the south shore of Reelfoot Lake. The partners have converted the former restaurant into a full-line fishing and hunting store. Work is still being done on the hunting side of the store, but when customers enter the business they will be greeted with a complete line of fishing supplies. There are fishing lures, a nice selection of rods and reels, and just about everything a fisherman would need for a successful fishing trip. The store also carries live bait and Treece and Wilson are always available to offer a little advice on what the fish are biting on that day. The store is open from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. The store is closed on Sundays. Reelfoot Outdoors also has lodging available for customers and offers guided fishing and hunting trip packages. The hotel rooms at Reelfoot Outdoors come fully equipped, and kitchenettes are available. The business is located just minutes away from several boat launches as well as popular restaurant destinations. A guided hunting package for four (which includes lodging) runs $175 a day. A guided fishing package (which also includes lodging) ranges from $200 to $275 a day. On the checkout counter, there is a collection of business cards from local guides. The telephone number for Reelfoot Outdoors is (731) 253-3203 and the website for the business is www.reelfoot-outdoors.com and you can emaill the store at reelfootoutdoors@att.net. , , |
