| | Heather Butler scored 35 points, and Jasmine Newsome had 26 points and 11 rebounds as the UT Martin women defeated Tennessee Tech 82-65 in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship game Saturday afternoon in Nashville. It marked the second consecutive tournament title and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the Skyhawks (23-8). UTM led 36-34 at the half.
