State hoops gets plenty of air time

Tennessee high school basketball fans are about to get their fill of the state’s best teams.
The TSSAA Network has announced that beginning today and running through Saturday, March 17, all 54 games of the 2012 BlueCross Basketball Championships, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, will be broadcast live in their entirety across several distribution outlets.
The 10 Division I and II boys’ and girls’ championship games will be broadcast on live television across the seven Tennessee Public Television Council stations throughout the state, as well as streamed live nationally on ESPN3.
All 44 quarterfinal and semifinal games will be streamed live at www.TSSAANetwork.com and www.youtube.com/playonnetwork, along with on-demand viewing of the championships games.
The Division II boys’ and girls’ basketball championships from Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville and the Division I title games from the Murphy Center at Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro will broadcast live on the seven Tennessee Public Television Council stations, including Martin/Jackson (WLJT), Chattanooga (WTCI), Cookeville (WCTE), Tri-Cities (WETP), Knoxville (WKOP), Memphis (WKNO) and Nashville (WNPT).
All the Division I and II championship games will be streamed live on ESPN3. All quarterfinal and semifinal games will be streamed live at www.TSSAANetwork.com and www.youtube.com/playonnetwork.
