A high score on the ACT exam could be worth thousands of dollars in scholarships for incoming college students.
High school students who wish to improve their scores are encouraged to enroll in an ACT prep course, available through the University of Tennessee at Martin Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies. The course will meet from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays beginning March 17-April 7.
Ron Ramage, instructor, will use the latest edition of “The Real ACT Prep Guide” and students should bring this book to the first class meeting. The guide can be purchased at the UT Martin bookstore in the Boling University Center.
The registration fee for the course is $75 per person, not including the cost of the book.
For information on the textbook, contact the UT Martin bookstore at 881-7760.
To register for the course, contact ECOS at 881-7082, or register online at http://www.utm.edu/departments/ecce/nonedegree/home.php.
