Widows group to meet

The Christian Widow’s Club will meet today at 4 in the “blue building” on East Main Street near Save-a-Lot grocery store.
All widows are welcome, as are other Christian ladies who wish to stop by for a visit, a spokesman said.
Refreshments will be served and topics of interest, such as current events and recipe exchanges, will be featured. There will also be a Bible-based lesson.
