UT Martin sweeps
baseball awards

For the first time in program history, the UT Martin baseball team has won both the adidas Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week awards as junior right-handed pitcher Alec Mills and senior outfielder Jordan Owen earned the honors.
Mills becomes just the sixth different UT Martin pitcher to earn the award, while Owen is the eighth position player in Skyhawk history to win the honor. It is the first career weekly accolade for both players.
UT Martin is slated to play at home today against Evansville, first pitch set at 4 p.m. at Skyhawk Field.
