Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club – 2.28.12

Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club met Feb.  22 and had four tables in play. Several of our regular players were ill and unable to play this week.  We missed Alma Ford, Jo Glasgow, Bertha Henry, Serena Williams, Minnie Bess Williams and Joni Martin.
Players enjoyed Mexican chips, nuts, chicken salad, and delicious cookies bought from Helping Hands, Paris. Winners were: first in Flight A, Sue Thompson of  Paris and Toni Pritchett; second, Bob Sanner of Union City and Jack Bogue of Milan; and third, Jackie Hohman and Carol Ehlers, both of Paris;  first in Flight B, Sarah Ann Pentecost and Tom Beard.
