Celine Dion cancels show

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Singer Celine Dion has canceled more shows at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace, citing a virus causing an inflammation of her vocal cords.
An official with show producer AEG Live, Christi Nelson, says a doctor has advised the French-Canadian pop superstar to rest her voice for six to eight weeks.
Officials announced last weekend Dion was canceling shows through Saturday. Her new return date is June 9.
The singer returned to Caesars Palace a year ago for a three-year engagement. The casino spent $95 million building the Colosseum for Dion in 2003.
