| A suspected home invasion southeast of Rives Wednesday afternoon is under investigation by the Obion County Sheriff’s Department. Ben Kelly of South Crockett Bend Road reported to the local sheriff’s department he arrived at his residence about 12:44 p.m. Wednesday and discovered a black man in his home. He told authorities the suspect fled the house and ran to a late-model, four-door burgundy Oldsmobile with loud pipes. The vehicle reportedly left the scene and traveled southward to the Hop-In area. The sheriff’s department notified other law enforcement agencies in the area, according to Chief Deputy Kent Treece.
